Markham Forklift Instructor Training - Forklift Instructor training certification is recommended for forklift operators who wish to become instructors. In order to qualify for forklift instructor training, operators must be able to prove they have a high level of knowledge about forklift machinery and have good lift truck driving skills. Instructor training typically is held at an equipment sales facility or at the campus of a community college, junior college, or vocational or technical school. Forklift manufacturing companies sometimes offer train the trainer, practical, hands-on programs.

Whether provided in a classroom setting or at a manufacturing business facility, registering for the course will involve paying a tuition fee, and purchasing books, manuals or other materials. Course length varies depending on the course. People participating normally should have satisfactory test scores, participation and demonstration during the program to qualify for trainer certification.

It is assumed that the trainee taking the instructor course will have past experience using forklifts. The trainers will in the end be responsible for making their own curriculum which satisfies particular guideline regulations in terms of the topics presented, like Operation and Safety.
